April is World Autism Understanding Month 💙
 
This is a meaningful time to build understanding, acceptance, and celebration of autistic children, young people and adults within our services and communities.
 
World Autism Day is recognised on 2 April, and throughout the month educators can help create inclusive environments where every child feels safe, respected, supported and valued.
 
To support this important month, we have a FREE World Autism Understanding Month Learning Story Pack available for educators. This pack has been created to help you document meaningful conversations, inclusive practices, children’s learning, and the ways your service recognises and celebrates neurodiversity.
 
Easy ways educators can recognise this month may include:

💙 using visual supports in everyday routines
💙 encouraging conversations about kindness, inclusion and belonging
