This short Phone-Free Practice in Early Learning course has been created to help educators and leaders confidently understand what has changed — and what it means in everyday practice. Individual/self paced professional learning, this session provides a clear introduction to: • why phone-free expectations are now part of national child-safe reforms • the importance of protecting children’s privacy and maintaining professional boundaries • what the new requirements mean for educators across Australia • what safe, consistent practice looks like in real early learning environments • how to respond confidently in everyday situations with families, visitors, and colleagues This course helps remove confusion and supports teams to build a consistent, visible culture that supports children’s safety across the whole service. Includes: • a short, engaging training video (approx. 7 minutes) • real examples and practical language educators can use straight away • a reflection check/Quiz for individual learners • a Certificate of Completion for professional learning records This session helps ensure your team is aligned, confident, and ready to implement phone-free practice as part of everyday professional standards.
