This year’s Children’s Day theme, “Living Our Truth”, honours the power of truth-telling, sharing knowledge across generations and ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children’s voices, stories and experiences are heard and valued.
 
Children’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children growing strong in culture, proud of their identity and connected to family, community and Country.
Our free 2026 poster set encourages early childhood services to create meaningful spaces for listening, learning and celebrating. The posters include relevant curriculum links and messages that recognise children as strong, capable and confident leaders of the future.
